- This Agreement and any disputes arising out of or related to the Site or Skin Matters 101’s products and services shall be governed by the laws of Canada and, to the extent applicable, the laws of the Province of Nova Scotia, Canada.

Disputes and Arbitration (primary path)

- Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to this Agreement, the Site, or the products and services offered by Skin Matters 101 (including disputes involving content created by third parties for Skin Matters 101) shall be resolved by binding arbitration seated in Nova Scotia, Canada, in English, under the rules of [ICC/UNCITRAL/CSA] or another agreed arbitration framework.
- The seat of arbitration shall be Nova Scotia, Canada. The language of the arbitration shall be English.
- The arbitral award shall be final and binding and may be entered and enforced in any court having jurisdiction.

- Notwithstanding the above, you may bring a claim in a court of competent jurisdiction in Nova Scotia, Canada, if you prefer, but only for claims that fall within mandatory provincial or federal consumer protection laws to the extent applicable.

Content created by others

- For content created by third parties, contractors, or contributors engaged by Skin Matters 101 (e.g., guest authors, content writers, or freelancers), Skin Matters 101 will not be liable for the content’s accuracy, completeness, or legality to the same extent as its own content, and disputes arising from such content shall be subject to the same arbitration provisions described above.
